About Company :

The Lead Mechanical Engineer is a product development engineering role that will report to the Senior Engineering Manager within Special Hazards R&D. You will be developing fire protection equipment for a variety of applications and industries.
As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be leading the projects and follow a defined stage-gate process to develop innovative solutions for new or improved products.
You will interface with many internal functional departments and external resources as required for product development from project idea phase to product launch.

Job Description :

Selection of switchgear As per Connected load &Type 1 & 2 Co-ordination for motor starters.
Referring Catalogues for Switchgear selections like Schneider, L&T, and Danfoss etc.
Selection of Switchgear Required for Redundant VFD, Dol, Star Delta, power Feeders etc.
Designing control & power circuit for all starter like Dol, star delta, Vfd Bypass Etc, interlocking between contactors & Incomers, Creating logics as per Requirements.
Working on SAP Software, Generating EC Number and Adding Bill of materials into SAP Software for Production.
Making BOM as per designed schematic & power wirings.
Selection of VFD as per HP or KW rating provided on motor or compressor.
Attending meetings with customers and discussion about requirements and for approval of drawings
Understand the project scope, requirements, evaluate and estimate the efforts.
Plans work and ensure engineering standards and guidelines are adhered to while designing the systems

Eligibility :

BE/B.Tech- Electrical Design Engineering
5+ years of experience in Auto CAD -Electrical system design & SAP process.
Basic knowledge Creo.
Basic knowledge Harness design
Knowledge of HVAC equipment’s like Chillers, AHUs, VRF, PAC, RAC, Dedicated outside Air Systems, Heat pumps etc.
Knowledge of IEC standard.
Knowledge of safety standards like CE, UL, VDE etc.
Knowledge on motors (AC/DC), controllers, control logic.
Knowledge on SAP/Wind-chill (MUST)
Knowledge of standard project management processes
Working knowledge of Auto Cad Electrical (MUST), Creo/ProE
