Accredited degree in mechanical engineering, with 4-10 years of experience with fired heaters and associated systems
Familiarity with codes and standards of ASME, API and ASME
Knowledge of industry practices and those adopted by reputed PMC and engineering organizations
Updated on new scientific engineering methods and technical knowledge of the detail design engineering process.
Capability to appropriately use computer applications and other specialized engineering tools.
Strong communication skills and people skills are a must.

Abilitytoworkindependentlyaswellaspartofaprojectteam.
Mentoringofless-experiencedmechanicalengineers/designers.Dependingonsizeandcomplexityofscopeofwork,maybeassignedastheMechanicalEngineeringLeadforaproject.
Effectivecommunicationswithintheteamandamongotherengineeringdisciplines.
Effectivemanagementofchange.
Responsibilityforcost,schedule,quantityandbudgetcontrol.
Travelwhenneededtooverseasofficesand/orforcustomer/projectmeetings.
Thecandidatewillalsobeinvolvedincommunicationwithoverseasofficesinmulti-officeprojectexecution.
