Electronic Design, Systems Design, Test Engineering, or Electronic Component Engineering experience required.
Experience in Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Technical Services, trade compliance analyst, HTS code assignment, Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN’s).
Read, analyze and interpret scientific and technical documents
Able to quickly learn new software application and adapt to project related process changes.
Detailed and thorough in work habits with high multi-tasking and organizational skills.
PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook and other software.
Detailed and thorough in work habits with multi-tasking ability.

Performs technical data research, assessment and acquisition using the Internet, supplier websites, search engines, spreadsheets, or internal databases to determine the correct HTS code and ECCN Code.
Reviewing product descriptions and technical data to determine import / export classification in accordance with the published Schedule (HTS) Schedules and other approved resources for Import/Export compliance.
Research and audit import / export invoices and reconcile discrepancies.
Assign appropriate Harmonized Tariff Codes (HTS), and Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN’s) to all purchased and sold electronic products.
Interpret Customs rulings, explanatory notes, and technical product drawing to determine correct classifications.
Performs technical data research, assessment to determine the correct HTS code and basic ECCN Code to all purchased and sold electronic products.
Review product descriptions and technical data to determine import / export classification in accordance with the published Schedule (HTS) Schedules and other approved resources for Import/Export compliance. Enter classification codes as per approved documentation standards.
