Job Description :

Prepare 2D Drawings using the SolidWorks CAD tool.
3D part modeling of Sheet Metal parts and extrusions using SolidWorks software.
Create/ modify SolidWorks assemblies for parts, drawings, etc.
Create detailed engineering drawings,
Production drawings and GA drawings.
Create new standard parts, Kits and configurable assemblies and sub-assemblies using SolidWorks.
Assigning new parts numbers for the truck components and assemblies using JDE.
Document design process.
Check-In and Check-Out of models in PDM live environment.

Eligibility :

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 4 to 8 years of experience or similar preferred; may consider associate degree with 5 to 9 years of experience.
2+ years of experience working with truck body design elements.
In-depth knowledge of truck body manufacturing process.
In-depth knowledge of truck body regulatory requirements.
Solidworks/ PDM proficiency and certification is preferred.
Excellent working knowledge of sheet metal design and weld fabrication processes, along with knowledge of assembly and welding procedures.
