Job Description

  • To be responsible for the mechanical design of components and assemblies for surface or downhole products as a part of Sustaining or New Product Development Team
  • To develop and review manufacturable drawings in accordance with standard modelling and detailing practices to manage the Product Lifestyle process
  • To carry out detailed engineering calculations
  • To define testing procedures and coordinate with others to perform and document test results
  • To conduct and/or participate in technical design reviews
  • To plan, coordinate, and manage professional engineering work: including modifying proven approaches and devise new techniques with continuous improvement approach
  • To make presentations effectively to technical and management audiences
  • To contribute to design standards and support design re-use (best practices, lessons learnt, design books, standard work instructions, etc.)
