Eligibility Criteria

  • Masters / Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 0-3 years of development experience
  • Proficiency in one of the following languages C#, Java, C++, Ruby
  • Thorough knowledge of JavaScript, CSS and Web Standards

Job Description

  • The Platform Engineer is a primary resource for technical design, development, testing, support and ongoing maintenance – end-to-end ownership for platform applications
  • Implement and configure application functionality including user interfaces, business rules, workflows and complex logic
  • Work closely with associates in the US to gather & understand requirements, propose solutions and provide support
  • Work with support teams to troubleshoot issues and determine root cause
  • Provide feedback on processes and drive both technology change as well as product insight
  • Ensure all work is tested thoroughly through manual and automated testing
  • Ability to multi task and take ownership of own progress & tasks
  • Contribute to ongoing development of the team’s processes, procedures and best practices
