Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in relevant Mechanical or Polymer Engineering streams with minimum 5 years of experience of dealing with plastics components.
Tool designers from NTTF, GTTC, CIPET & IGTR and product designers from NTTF are also preferred.

Be an integral part of an engineering team and act as liaison between Suppliers and Global Sourcing team.
Release the manufacturing drawings.
Perform ‘should cost’ analysis of Plastics components and set realistic cost targets.
Identifying the suitable materials for designs and creating and releasing BOM
Assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns.
Develop inventory optimization strategies within the company.
Identifying the opportunities of cost reduction by various means like part rationalization, material change, supplier consolidation etc.
Obtaining quotes from different suppliers.
Work with Global Supply team for the process support
