Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in relevant Mechanical or Polymer Engineering streams with minimum 5 years of experience of dealing with plastics components.
- Tool designers from NTTF, GTTC, CIPET & IGTR and product designers from NTTF are also preferred.
Job Description
- Be an integral part of an engineering team and act as liaison between Suppliers and Global Sourcing team.
- Release the manufacturing drawings.
- Perform ‘should cost’ analysis of Plastics components and set realistic cost targets.
- Identifying the suitable materials for designs and creating and releasing BOM
- Assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns.
- Develop inventory optimization strategies within the company.
- Identifying the opportunities of cost reduction by various means like part rationalization, material change, supplier consolidation etc.
- Obtaining quotes from different suppliers.
- Work with Global Supply team for the process support
