Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in writing automation test cases using Java or Python
  • Experience with automation testing frameworks, such as Selenium, Cucumber, or pytest.
  • Understanding of CI/CD integration with automation scripts.
  • Proficiency in using version control systems, such as Git.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools, such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Good knowledge of SQL and the ability to write basic database queries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Project management and issue tracking tool experience: Atlassian Confluence, Atlassian JIRA, Postman, MS Office package
  • ISTQB Foundation qualification

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Java or Python.
  • Design, implement, and execute automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and translate them into automated test cases.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Continuously enhance and improve automated testing processes and frameworks for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
