Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BSME preferred) 
  • Minimum 3 years related work experience in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Knowledge of injection molding, plastic part, and assembly design 
  • Experience with sheet metal enclosure/electronic packaging design 
  • Knowledge of engineered resins, metal finishes and plating’s 
  • Competent with Creo (Windchill / PLM a plus) 
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on short- and long-term deliverables 

Job Description

  • Develop plastic and sheet metal enclosures for our new fire alarm control panels 
  • Design innovative products with a focus on manufacturability and serviceability 
  • Prove concepts through team review, rapid prototyping, soft tooling, and production launch. 
  • Provide creative solutions to problems that arise during new product development 
  • Participate in peer design reviews to ensure best design practices are followed  
  • Participate in improvement efforts on existing products and provide technical support to sales team, marketing, and customers
