Job Description

  • The primary responsibility of this role is to provide design support for New Product Development and current product engineering related projects for Torque Control Products.
  • Applicant needs to closely work with technical lead to provide timely support and ensure deliverables in line with project schedule.
  • The role is to support design activities from concept to launch of the product in co-ordination with various internal stakeholders like test lab, manufacturing, and project management.
  • The applicant should be proficient with 3D drafting tools like Creo and tolerance stackups for product design.
  • Good to have hands on knowledge of design for six sigma tools and methodologies.
  • The applicant must be self-motivated and possess good communication skills with cross functional team.
  • Prepare packaging layouts, design concepts in 3D drafting tools Creo for current product engineering and NPI projects.
  • Demonstrate and leverage knowledge on engineering fundamentals and analytical skills to leverage analysis first approach.
  • Perform assembly stack-up & tolerance stack up analysis to do design optimization.
