Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. Master’s Degree is preferred
5 years of experiences or equivalent combination of education and experiences
Field experiences in mechanical engineering, manufacturing process, instrument mechanical design is preferred
Proficient with using SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD Software
Collaborate with a diverse, dynamic, multifunctional team environment
Work with Product Engineers, Project Managers, and Product Marketing to define system requirement, complete feasibility tasks, and support product through production
Adhere to established development standards, safety policies and procedures

Design highly reliable products with cost, reliability, serviceability and manufacturability in mind
Perform validation testing on prototypes to demonstrate that product specifications and qualities are met
Complete documentation of designs conforming to MKS documentation standards including: detail and assembly drawings, BOMs, design review presentations, and test reports. Create Engineering Change Orders in PLM System
Identify, diagnose and troubleshoot problems in new product prototype
Support existing released products by conducting root cause failure analysis and redesigning for cost reduction
Travel Requirements: up to 15 % of travel is required
