Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. Master’s Degree is preferred
  • 5 years of experiences or equivalent combination of education and experiences
  • Field experiences in mechanical engineering, manufacturing process, instrument mechanical design is preferred
  • Proficient with using SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD Software
  • Collaborate with a diverse, dynamic, multifunctional team environment
  • Work with Product Engineers, Project Managers, and Product Marketing to define system requirement, complete feasibility tasks, and support product through production
  • Adhere to established development standards, safety policies and procedures

Job Description

  • Design highly reliable products with cost, reliability, serviceability and manufacturability in mind
  • Perform validation testing on prototypes to demonstrate that product specifications and qualities are met
  • Complete documentation of designs conforming to MKS documentation standards including: detail and assembly drawings, BOMs, design review presentations, and test reports. Create Engineering Change Orders in PLM System
  • Identify, diagnose and troubleshoot problems in new product prototype
  • Support existing released products by conducting root cause failure analysis and redesigning for cost reduction
  • Travel Requirements: up to 15 % of travel is required
