About Company

  • The Lead Mechanical Engineer is a product development engineering role that will report to the Senior Engineering Manager within Special Hazards R&D. You will be developing fire protection equipment for a variety of applications and industries. 
  • As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be leading the projects and follow a defined stage-gate process to develop innovative solutions for new or improved products. 
  • You will interface with many internal functional departments and external resources as required for product development from project idea phase to product launch.

Job Description

  • Good knowledge of Ducted split air conditioner/Cassette Type air conditioner product development (Preferred).
  • Good knowledge of New Product development-NPI process from ideation to mass production.
  • Good Knowledge of Air-conditioning system & designing of Cycle Parts that include Heat Load Calculation, Compressor selection, Heat Exchangers, Cycle Balancing and Energy Efficiency.
  • NPI documentation preparation
  • BOMs preparation and 3D/2D drawings preparation and management
  • Able to lead product development to meet product technical requirement with cost and timely manner.
  • Good understanding of Indian and International standard related with Air conditioner experience in BEE star rating up-gradation and QCO related standards related to Room AC/ Cassette and Ducted Split products.
  •  Conceptual understanding of Thermodynamics & Heat Mass Transfer (Convective Forced & Natural) and Fluid Mechanics.
  • Certification tests – standards know how, conduct, analysis, countermeasures
