Job Overview

The Mechanical Design Engineering II is responsible for performing engineering activities to deliver custom and engineered or made to order solutions for customers. This role works closely with project team and senior engineers to ensure engineering solutions meet customer requirements, project schedule, and budget. This position is part of Pall’s Global Process Engineering group Systems team and will be located in Pune, India in an onsite capacity, working 5 days in the office.

Eligibility Criteria

  • B.E/B.Tech (Mech) with 4-5 yrs of experience in Mechanical Design.
  • Good understanding of mechanical design principals relating to pressure vessels, hydraulic and process systems as per international standards
  • Good knowledge of major manufacturing processes including welding, machining, forming, molding/ casting and sealing mechanisms​.
  • Very good communication in English and Hindi.
  • Certification on design tools
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in design of filtration and pressure vessels products or equivalent
  • Willingness to travel
  • Proficiency in Marathi will be an added advantage

Job Description

  • Generate designs which meets customer specifications and offers safe and reliable/robust design which is easy to manufacture/operate and maintain.
  • Work as part of a cross functional team designing and detailing products ensuring safety and functionality are met in accordance with the customer requirements and current legislation.
