Job Overview

The Mechanical Engineer is in charge of the technical definition, sizing, and selection of equipment in accordance with the process and contract requirements, in the order to insure the proper design of the water treatment plant (WTP/WwTP/R.O).

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
4+ years' of industry experience
Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and computer-aided design

Equipment specifications, including spare parts
Technical Comparison Table of Vendor offers
Piping classes
Equipment / Specification Tracker List (monitor)

Job Description

Equipment specifications in accordance with the contract requirements, the international industrial std & code for design and Suez’s standards.
The Vendor’s offers analysis, including technical exchange with the Vendors, etc.
The appropriateness and coherency of the entire design production in respect of equipment package requirement, and particularly the P&ID and associated lists.
Documentation management related to equipment (collect, control and file)
The equipment manufacturing clearance
Following all applicable engineering procedures (i.e. Omega, Best Work Practices…)
Providing technical support to the project team i.e. (client comment resolution, Site support, etc…)
