Eligibility Criteria

  • Diploma in Mechanical or similar streams.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in Mechanical Drafting
  • Proficient with SolidWorks
  • Excellent technical communication skills with engineers and manufacturing personnel
  • Strong attention to detail and mathematical abilities
  • Able to work within strict deadlines
  • Professional certification in mechanical drafting
  • Experience with mechanical manufacturing process

Job Description

  • Responsible for providing detailed drawings and assembly drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Creates 2-D drawings for multiple product lines using SolidWorks.
  • Makes any necessary changes to existing models or 2D drawings.
  • Acquire technical data via catalogs, internet for validation.
  • Review the CAD model with the Job order packet received.
  • Update the file properties as required.
  • Check-In and Check-out of the CAD models from SolidWorks PDM.
  • Fill the data cards in the PDM.
  • Phantom parts creation and addition to the PDM.
  • Conversion of the existing parts to the updated standards.
  • Extraction of Bill of Materials in excel spread sheets on customer requirement.
  • Validation of the electrical and hydraulic schematics with CAD models.
