Job Overview

  • Electrical System Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities on electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, motors, generators, transformers, and other relevant equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose electrical malfunctions and implement effective repair solutions promptly. This includes analyzing circuits, wiring, and components to identify faults and replace or repair damaged parts as needed.
  • Equipment Calibration: Ensure all electrical equipment is calibrated accurately and functioning correctly. This involves using specialized tools and equipment to perform tests and validate the accuracy of various electrical systems.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate records of all electrical maintenance activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and parts replacement. Generate reports on maintenance status, equipment performance, and energy consumption.
  • Equipment Upgrades and Modifications: Collaborate with the engineering team to evaluate and implement electrical equipment upgrades, modifications, and improvements. This includes staying up to date with the latest technology advancements in electrical systems.
  • Compliance with Safety Standards: Adhere to all electrical safety guidelines and protocols. Develop and implement safety procedures to minimize electrical hazards and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Training and Support: Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and operators regarding electrical systems and equipment. Share knowledge and best practices to enhance overall electrical system operations and reliability.
  • Spare Parts Inventory: Maintain an inventory of electrical spare parts and ensure availability when needed. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to source and procure necessary spare parts.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Relevant certifications in electrical systems maintenance are advantageous.
  • Experience: A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, electrical schematics, and troubleshooting methods. Proficiency in using electrical tools, test equipment, and software for analysis and reporting.
  • Safety Compliance: Familiarity with relevant safety codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., National Electrical Code). Demonstrated ability to mitigate electrical hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions effectively. Experience with root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures is desirable.
  • PLC Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions in Logic control circuits of Fanuc, Siemens & Mitsubishi Controls.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, convey technical information concisely, and provide guidance to technicians and operators.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing demands. Must be willing to work flexible hours and be available for on-call support when necessary.

Job Description

  • Assist in drafting technical reports and documenting improvements to enhance electrical system performance.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while conducting electrical maintenance activities.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential hazards and address them promptly.
  • Stay informed about industry standards, codes, and regulations related to electrical systems and ensure compliance.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate electrical systems' performance to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Analyze electrical data, identify trends, and implement proactive measures to avoid issues.
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical maintenance techniques and technology.
