Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CBTC Test and Commissioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the testing, commissioning, and validation of communication-based train control systems. This role requires a strong technical background in railway signaling systems and a keen eye for detail to ensure the safety and efficiency of train operations.

Eligibility Criteria

  • 5 years of experience in railway signaling systems, specifically in CBTC or similar technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of railway signaling principles, control systems, and communication protocols.
  • Experience with software tools for simulation, testing, and data analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in the railway industry.
  • Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
  • Experience with system integration and validation processes.

Job Description

  • Conduct testing and commissioning of CBTC systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
  • Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and reports for system validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and project management, to ensure seamless integration of CBTC systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues during testing phases, providing timely solutions to minimize project delays.
  • Support on-site testing activities, including site inspections and performance evaluations.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance during system installations and upgrades.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of test results, findings, and engineering changes.
  • Participate in safety and risk assessments, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
