Job Overview

You are an experienced and highly motivated Layout Design Engineer with a passion for creating custom layout designs for Process, Voltage, Temperature, Current, and Droop sensors. You thrive in a collaborative environment and have a strong technical background in Analog & Mixed-Signal (A&MS) layout design. With your exceptional problem-solving skills and proficiency in industry-standard layout tools such as Synopsys Custom Compiler or Cadence Virtuoso, you are ready to tackle complex design challenges. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow you to work effectively within cross-functional teams, ensuring that design requirements and specifications are met with precision. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in layout design techniques and tools.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. 
  • Exceptional knowledge of layout design ideas and methodologies. 
  • Proficiency in industry-standard layout tools such as Synopsys Custom Compiler or Cadence Virtuoso. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and specifications. 
  • Create and implement layout designs for complex analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits. 
  • Optimize layout design for performance, power, and area, with a hyper-focus on these aspects. 
  • Perform layout verification and resolve any design-related issues. 
  • Work closely with circuit designers to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability. 
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in layout design techniques and tools. 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of layout methodologies and processes.
  • Ensure the successful design and implementation of high-performance PVT Sensor IPs. 
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enhance the silicon lifecycle monitoring. 
  • Drive improvements in layout design methodologies and processes, enhancing overall efficiency. 
  • Facilitate the creation of reliable and manufacturable designs that meet industry standards. 
  • Support Synopsys' reputation as a market leader in IP development through high-quality design work. 
  • Enable the integration of advanced technologies in various applications, from self-driving cars to IoT devices.
