About Company

Mansa was declared as Sub Division of Bathinda District in the year 1956. Most of the officers were staying in sarais or private building. There was no official residence and the officer resided in the rented building or part of sarai. The Courts were also housed in sarai/private buildings.Sub Divisional Complex was completed in the year 1985. The revenue officers and judicial Courts were shifted to New Sub Divisional Complex in the year 1985.Shri R.P. Nagrath was the first District & Sessions Judge, Mansa, who assumed his office on 17.09.2005.The name of the first Sub Judge/Magistrate is not available. However, the Court of Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division) was established in Sub Division Sardulgarh and Shri Jasbir Singh was the first Judicial Officer, who assumed the office as Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), Sarduglarh on 25.02.2006. Similarly, the Court of Civil Judge (Junior Division) was established in Sub Division, Budhlada and Shri Hira Singh gill was the first Judicial officer, who assumed the office as Civil Judge (Junior Division), Budhlada on 19.05.2007.
