Job Overview

  • We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate (preferably in their 3rd or 4th year) with a strong background in causal inference and an interest in causal reasoning.
  • This is a full-time, remote internship where you will contribute to cutting-edge research in causal inference and its applications in LLMs.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Preferred Ph.D. candidate for this internship with thesis aligned towards causal inference or data science topics.
  • We also welcome candidates with Bachelors and Master Degree who have sufficient project/prior internship work experience in Causal area.

Job Description

  • Conduct research on causal reasoning, leveraging potential outcomes or structural causal models.
  • Implement and experiment with causal inference methodologies in Python and PyTorch.
  • Work with causal inference libraries to develop and validate models.
  • Apply causal reasoning techniques to enhance LLM interpretability and robustness.
  • Collaborate with researchers to explore novel applications of causal inference in language models.
  • Present findings through reports and discussions with the team.
