Bachelor's Degree in Embedded systems, or in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).

Develop both expertise and understanding of wearable software and develop software for the Pixel watch system software team, working on both next generation and legacy products.
Design, develop and support the Pixel watch System Software, including contributing to BSP/kernel/storage, new board/IP bringup, thermal, charging and working with silicon vendor teams.
Find solutions to unique problems faced while making a product worth launching, pay attention to user journeys and experiences.
Focus on power/performance/battery life and overall software quality and stability.
Work with cross-functional teams to propose and drive new changes, add new features to WearOS/Android as well as lighting up features on Pixel Watches.
