Job Description

  • Technically responsible for daily operation, preventive maintenance and Troubleshooting of the Wind Turbines and Bop areas of Acciona assets in India.
  • Will be responsible for wind turbine & BOP Operations, Troubleshooting, Spares/Tools Planning, Documentation and reports. Evaluate MTBF, RCA, and Implementation of Retrofits. Ensure work implementation keeping in mind Safety and Environmental Aspects.      
  • Handling all matters related to inspection of electrical items at supplier's factory. To witness type tests and carry out routine tests of electrical items at lab/supplier's factories for electrical items and approving the items as per Acciona's QSE procedures and Standards             
  • Keeping all tools and tackles & Measuring tools in good condition with calibration having regular tracking of calibration records and responsible for yearly calibrations.       
  • The ability to focus the activity towards the achievement that brings value to Acciona           
  • Operation and use of tools and basic turbine equipment.         
  • Documents tasks where required and enters data into the company information system (e.g. Acciona tech documentum).          
  • Ability to trouble shoot turbine, BOP break downs in faster and efficient way without compromising safety.
  • Develop thorough knowledge on procedures and adopt in daily routine so that at the time audit no nonconformities are received from audit team.
  • Continually monitoring pending work order in MAXIMO & take necessary action to complete without delay   
  • Ability to handle risk management plans in a proactive manner.
  • Ability to cooperate with others within and outside the team, establishing an efficient work relationship and fluid communication that will contribute to the achievement of objectives
  • Taking lead role in preventive maintenance of turbines and training juniors in PM and Breakdowns.
  • Ensuring safety and adopting all safety guidelines and procedures of AE and other legal agencies
  • Issuing PTW to works, follow LOTO (creating LOTO procedure and approval).
