Eligibility Criteria

  • Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering Graduate with good academic record.
  • Minimum work experience of 3 to 6 years after graduation. 
  • Possess good CAD knowledge (Preferred Solid Works).
  • Knowledge on Casting, Plastic or forging part design consideration will be preferred. 
  • Knowledge on ASME 14.5 will be preferred.
  • Good in communication to convey ideas & thoughts for global clients. 
  • Experience on Appliance product design will be added advantage.
  • Quick Learner.

Job Description

  • Generate ideas, develop concepts, and design both new products and improvements to existing products.
  • Perform hand calculations and GD&T stack-up analysis. 
  • Good understanding of engineering principles.
  • Provide CAD (SolidWorks / Solid Edge) support for New Product Development (NPD) and Sustenance projects.
  • Lead cost-saving and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Implement DFMA (Design for Manufacturability and Assembly) practices in product design.
  • Execute Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Notes (ECNs) efficiently.
  • Contribute to the development and testing of functional prototypes and evaluate test results.
  • Manage costed Bill of Materials (BOM) and utilize PLM tools such as Teamcenter.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all project stakeholders.
