Job Overview

As a Mechanical Engineer at Lam, you're designing and defining cutting-edge mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. Your role involves feasibility studies, testing, and guiding teams in detailed design and fabrication. You provide the crucial design information needed to shape our technology's packaging.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 1+ years of experience; or new college graduate who can demonstrate the above role expectations.
  • Good communication and technical presentation skills.
  • Experience in using 3D CAD tools such CREO and Siemens NX.
  • Experience in designing liquid or gas flow assemblies using components such as orifice, pressure regulators, valves etc.

Job Description

  • Primary responsible is to design gasbox assemblies as per special requests from customers using OEMs (MFC, valves, filter and others) and designed parts (gasline weldments/machined blocks) and release documentation to support production. 
  • Handle factory/manufacturing issues to keep up the design sanity. 
  • Ensure documentation aligns with SEMI, Lam standards, and industry best practices.
  • Define project schedule, cost and milestones to drive projects and deliver to the scope.
  • Conduct simple analysis primarily fluid and gas flow dynamics.
  • Develop and engage in hands-on learning in the hardware lab
