- Deliver electrical designs on time meeting requirements and within cost targets.
- Improvement in design quality through the reduction in design errors and escapes to the field.
- BE with 3 years of experience.
- Elevator experience of 1 years will be added advantage
Job Description
- Design and integration of elevator electrical subsystems, understanding control system requirements, motor & VF drive interfaces, electrical codes & application software fundamentals.
- Developing concepts of electrical sub-system, review and create electrical component & sub-system design requirements.
- Innovative ideas in electrical subsystems with alternative design solutions to reduce the product and process cost.
- Propose and integrate alternative drives, machines, controllers and other electrical components in the event of product obsolescence.
- Selection and sizing of key electrical components for the electrical sub-system designs, such as: relays, circuit breakers, switches, transformers, protection systems for both control and power circuits.
- Support electrical system calculation and analysis for cable sizing, power converters sizing, Machine sizing, heat release calculations, power supply designs.
- Understanding and performing failure and risk analysis using Otis tools PROCERT, FMEA, RAMP, RRCA, DoE, etc
- Project Planning, Global Stake holder management, Risk forecast & mitigation, effective operations management, Improve Customer MFA
- Hands on experience in AutoCAD tool and Knowledge on the E3/EPLAN tool will be added advantage.
- Exposure in managing the communication with global engineering teams like China, US and European countries.
- Identify the cost reduction opportunities by value engineering process and benchmarking,
- Good interpersonal and communication skills Creative and open mind, work hard and energetic, good teamwork and ethical behaviour.
