Eligibility Criteria

  • 2 to 5 years of experience working as a Design Engineer (automotive sector is a plus)
  • Minimum graduate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree/qualification.
  • Experience with engine systems, air modules, and ECUs.
  • Knowledge on design validation, product validation, product application, DFM is a plus.
  • Skilled in 3D modelling and 2D drawing creation using Creo.
  • Flexibility & ability to work in a cross-discipline environment, and interaction with production team
  • Ability to understand system requirements and define the product.
  • Advanced level of English (written and spoken)
  • Good communication, strong customer orientation and positive experience with international team
  • Autonomy in managing work,

Job Description

  • Design & develop products for new generation ECUs and throttle body, implement value engineering activities in existing products.
  • Analyse product issues from validation/field and recommend robust solutions.
  • Prepare design drawing and be responsible for change management activities in the design.
  • Work with cross-discipline team (project team, manufacturing) and drive change management activities.
  • Realize the integration and the validation of the system (s) / product (s) / technology (s).
  • Support quality management (feasibility and risk analysis, FMEA, FTA)
  • Actively participate in the analysis of defects seen by the customer or in managing missing content upon delivery to the customer (delays, side effects, occurrences, criticality...)
  • Define Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Design Verification and Validation Plan (DVVP).
  • Handle postproduction issues and travel to customer sites, plants, and supplier units as needed.
  • Practice of change management tool preferable
