Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
3-5 years relevant experience

Job Description

Demonstrated experience in executing mechanical subsystem design in support of larger Electro Mechanical product/system development
Good understanding of various manufacturing processes
Possess and demonstrate advanced knowledge in a specialized field and broad knowledge of several related disciplines within a function
Demonstrated strong analytical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills. Proven experience developing 3D models
Proficiency with engineering tools including FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, GD&T, Tolerance Stack Analysis & DFM/DFA
May provide day-to-day direction and oversight for other employees.
Provide technical leadership on cross-functional teams
Has a solid knowledge of product category, understanding larger system aspects.
Demonstrated understanding of cross functional processes.
Demonstrated proficiency in work practices, standards, processes.
Good written and verbal communication skills, effective presentations skills.
Ability to collaborate, negotiate and work within a team environment.
Ability to relate to others, demonstrated resourcefulness and flexibility, active participation in decision making process.
Ability to solve problems and lead others in resolving problems.
Contribute to multiple projects, involving single components or subsystems.
Can quickly assess a problem and identify the key technical issues. Bases decisions on fundamental engineering principles and has a firm understanding of how the principles apply to the problem. Has an understanding of the assumptions involved and accounts for the added risks
