Job Description

  • Support the mechanical design of new products from concept to launch.
  • Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and BOMs using NX or Solid works.
  • Develop prototypes and conduct functional tests to validate design concepts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, industrial design, and manufacturing.
  • Evaluate materials, manufacturing methods, and cost implications during the design process.
  • Perform tolerance stack-up analysis, FEA, and other engineering calculations.
  • Support design reviews, DFMEA, and risk assessments.
  • Work with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure design intent is preserved during fabrication.
  • Maintain documentation according to engineering change control and regulatory standards.
  • Continuously improve design processes and contribute to IP generation.
