Job Overview

We are seeking a Piping Design Expert with strong expertise in liquid cooling distribution systems for data center applications, specifically focusing on Cooling Distribution Units (CDUs). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating piping systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in piping design.
  • Experience in data center cooling, CDU, or chiller systems.

Job Description

  • Proven experience in piping design for cooling systems, preferably in data center, HVAC, or industrial liquid cooling applications.
  • Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer principles.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (Creo, or equivalent).
  • Experience with P&ID creation, isometric drawings, and piping layout design.
  • Familiarity with CFD and FEA tools for fluid and stress analysis (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, FloEFD, or similar).
  • Understanding of welding, brazing, and tube-bending manufacturing processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, global engineering environment.
