Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical system design and development, with significant exposure to electrical substation LV panel design
  • Strong knowledge of IEC 61439 international standard
  • Hands-on experience with low-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies, including electrical panels, motor control centres and component sizing.
  • Proficient in electrical design tools and simulation software (ETAP, MATLAB Simulink, etc).
  • Electrical Testing &Validation.
  • Electrical product assembly & integration.
  • PLC Programming. Nice to have.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills with a focus on team engagement and motivation.
  • Enthusiastic, positive minded and able to work well in an international client environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Job Description

  • Develop comprehensive schematics and layouts for low-voltage (LV) electrical panel and sub stations.
  • Drive end-to-end development of new products, from concept to commercialization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define specifications, ensure manufacturability, and meet project goals.
  • Ensure designs adhere to international standards such as IEC, AS/NZS 3000.
  • Work with certification bodies to obtain necessary product approvals. Nice to Have.
  • Circuit Breaker, Transformer, Contactor, Relays, CT & PT, Bus Bar Sizing, ELCB and RCCB selection.
  • Perform Load Flow Analysis, Short Circuit Analysis and Arc Flash for different products from time to time
  • Prepare engineering documents, including wiring diagrams, technical specifications, and bills of materials (BOM).
  • Create and manage design validation reports and testing documentation.
  • Plan and execute testing and validation of electrical systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance.
  • Analyse test results and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the team.
  • Onsite support during proto-typing and testing
