Job Overview

Works with teams in the maintenance organization and assists line employees in basic maintenance procedures.
Assists Facilities, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering in problem identification, trouble shooting, and equipment issue resolution and repair.
Assists with spare parts and indirect materials inventory by using a computerized maintenance management system.
Assists with equipment engineering design evaluations. Builds preventative maintenance processes to ensure equipment is available and capable.

Eligibility Criteria

Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation engineering. with 15+ years of experience
Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation engineering. with 10+years of experience

Job Description

Maintain the discipline of the work force.
Spare parts planning and inventory management based on VED or other analysis tools.
Achieve cost reduction by initiating various improvement projects to reduce the managed expenses of BU.
Ability to manage teams of Associates, ITI’s & DETs / trainees and resolve their issues.
Giving timely feedback of progress /issues to BU / maintenance leader
Interfacing of automated material handling systems with the machines at Machine Shop.
Consistently Maintain & Improve Housekeeping standards.
Implementation of safety systems - Job safety analysis, Risk assessments and work permit, LOTO related to maintenance activities in Machine Shop.
Should have hands on Maintenance experience of all equipment such as CNC Machines, Robots, SPMs, Washing machine, Conveyors, Nut runners, etc.
Should have hands on experience of FANUC, SIEMENS controllers.
Should have hands on experience of Siemens, Mitsubishi, B&R PLC.
Ensure Adherence to LOTO rules, Safety Rules, PPE’s & norms as per the requirement.
Maintain 5S Score in machine shop & Plant Engineering Dept.
Ensure adherence to all safety & discipline norms.
Handle day-to-day maintenance activities & issues in Machine shop area & able to work in all 3 shifts.
Ensure to update shop breakdown history & analysis.
Resolve daily Machine, Equipment related breakdown issues.
Preparation & keeping of various maintenance reports.
Execute EM \ PD \ CM & Update in Cummins MAXIMO System
Undertake projects related for Improving Maintenance KPIs.
LOTO, Risk assessments, work permits & Safety practices implementation in Machine Shop.
Maintaining the Machine Uptime/ MTBF/MTTR targets of all equipment in machine shop.
Should be Familiar with Hydraulic, Pneumatic systems.
Implement safety system in the Machine Shop.
Guide work staff to achieve their individual targets.
