Job Description

  • Highlight the main responsibilities
  • Information regarding new patents from third parties
  • Providing regularly IP Engineers, Project team members and Technical experts with a report on new patent publications, ranked by Product Lines / technical fields.;
  • Prior art searches
  • Realising prior art searches e. g. for patent clearances, patentability studies, patent mappings.
  • Training people (Project team members, …) to search tools and methods
  • Optimizing search tools
  • Developing tools to retrieve previous searches
  • Prior Art database (if any)
  • Management of a customised database containing all the patents related to the BG activities,
  • Developing tools to permit an easy retrieval of patents according to certain criteria;
  • Monitoring with technical experts the indexation of patents in the database and putting some additional information for each of them;
  • Managing access to the database (restricted access to added information, i.e. non public);
