Job Description


  •  Vendor interaction for manufacturing/procurement of bogie system aggregates, sub -assemblies and components.
  •  Preparation of Design documents for submissions to customers.
  •  Design & development of Jigs & Fixture for bogie fatigue testing.
  •  Responsible in design and development of Underframe, Sidewall, Endwall, roof Structure for DEMU (Diesel electric multiple unit) and metro coaches.
  •  Preparation of general arrangement and installation drawings.
  •  Concept design, Modeling and preparation of detail drawings.
  •  Weight distribution calculation, Spring deflection calculation for Rail bogies.
  •  Preparation of Operation, Technical & Maintenance manuals for Metro Bogies.
  •  Technical assistance & coordination with production, purchase, Quality, Tooling during proto development and production.
  •  Preparation of Bogie related technical documents for new rail/metro project tenders.
  •  Involved actively for Squeeze testing of Stainless Steel ACEMU Car body.
