Derivation of Specifications aligning with Technical Centers
Capable of die designing / catalogue preparations
New tires and Existing tires Developments in collaboration with Design Team, Regional Quality Team, Plant Team & AE Team
Adequate knowledge on Tire manufacturing machines and its principals
Able to set the machines upto the respective Tire Specifications for Development Trials
Capable of doing Development build analysis and be able to give recommendations to achieve the goal
Knowledgeable on mold and Equipment to correlate with tire specifications and its effects on tire designs/constructions
Expert in APQP/PPAP file management
Should be able to handle and ensure the audits by internal Goodyear and external auditors on NPI
Should have minimum knowledge on preparation Quality department to see the effects on tire performance
Responsible for Layered Process Audit
Bachelor’s degree in Polymer, Chemical, Mechanical engineering
Ideally has exposure on Radial Consumer tyres or any passenger tyres
2 to 3 years on NPI development and tyre design
Has skills on problem-solving, troubleshooting process defect and knowledge in technical savings
Safety and Environment, Operational Excellence, Software skills, Analytical Skills, Statistical Skills, 7QC Tools, DMAIC
Good Communication skills and can converse with the business
Willing to work in Aurangabad
