Job Description

Safety and rigorous adherence to relevant specifications and standards for all Electrical designs.
Accountable for the safety and engineering scope adherence in accordance with project specifications & standards.
Implementation of quality procedures and contribute to continuous implementation of improvement activities.
Generate documents like Single Line diagrams, Power layouts, lighting layouts, earthing layouts, tray layouts, cable schedules, JB Schedules, motor schematics, Hazardous area layouts, MTOs, Electrical room layouts etc.
3D modelling of cable trays, JBs etc
Support development of electrical design strategies.
Effectively communicate by email, ppt or ‘face to face’ AP’s execution strategies, schedule issues and project requirements.
Develop common work practices within engineering organization.
A Degree in electrical and work experience of around 8-10 years’ experience.
Excellent written and spoken English and strong communication skills.
Experience working with review tools like Free View and SPR.
Must be familiar with an engineering organization, the function of each discipline and how they interact and the function of the various support groups globally.
Experience to Guide and Assist Designers to generate all electrical design deliverables like layouts (cable, power, lighting, earthing), schematics, E& I interface schedule, cable schedules, SLDs, MTOs, 3D modelling etc.
Experience of producing interconnection diagram.
Experience / Exposure of using global engineering standards
Knowledge and experience of plant layouts and model review meetings
