Good knowledge of fire and plumbing international codes such IPC, NFPA and UAE civil defence code.
Water supply layout/storm water design layout/drainage layout, statutory approval drawings, material take-off from layouts
Design of Sprinkler, hydrant and gas based firefighting systems.
Hydraulic calculations for water supply/ storage and fire water demand and pressure.
Coordination with other MEP and structural services
Work within time limits to complete deliverables on time
Share knowledge and experience with other staff in the section and organisation particularly to help develop more junior staff
Must have worked on designing of Plumbing and Firefighting systems for Residential/Commercial/Infra projects.
Engineer Civil/Mechanical equivalent in respective engineering discipline
Relevant years of experience in the field of design
Experience in drafting of drafting of plumbing layouts, Schematic diagrams and preparation of BOQ
Experience in relevant design software such as Auto CAD, REVIT and IT Literacy
Have good oral and written communication skills
