3 to 8 years’ experience in embedded systems, with focus on AUTOSAR Architecture
Minimum 3+ years of embedded software development experience using C with work experience on Microcontroller infrastructure.
Experience in handling:
8/16/32 bit microcontrollers or FPGAs
ADCs, PWMs, TIMERs
Interfacing the Peripherals such as I/O devices, EEPROM, ADC, FLASH memory, Display interfaces devices using I2C/SPI/UART/CAN/LIN/Ethernet.
Experience in the Requirements Management tools like Rational Doors, TeamCenter Systems Engineering, etc...
Understanding of the electrical circuit diagrams/ Layouts.
Experience in tools like Canalyzer/CanoE.
Good knowledge in software development life cycle, agile methodologies
Exposure and understanding of using the configuration management tools like Git, SVN, Jira etc.
Good knowledge of UML/SysML diagrams.
Exposure to SCRUM and agile methodology work environment is plus
Knowledge on Functional safety (ISO 26262) and Cybersecurity standards are plus.
Experience in Automotive background is plus.
Should be results oriented.
Creative & strong problem-solving capability resulting in good solution to technical complex software issues.
Strong communication and inter-personal skills.

Evaluates System Requirements Document for consistency, completeness and unambiguousness.
Performs high level analysis of system requirements and allocates them to the concerned team members for detailed analysis
Acts a liaison between software engineers and system requirements engineer for requirements clarifications and issues resolution
Ensures software requirements issues closure in the SRD.
Creates or reviews Software Requirements Specifications when created as part of the software requirements analysis
Reviews Functional Test Plan to ensure the coverage of software requirements
Ensures requirement and functional test plan reviews happen for all the features and escalate risks when there is a deviation.
Reviews Change Requests and clarifies and resolves ambiguities/issues if any
Reviews Defects from requirements standpoint and provide clarifications as required
Participates in requirements discussions with the OEM as required by systems team
Promotes a better understanding of requirements among the software engineers
Shares systems level knowledge on product specific features
Provide coaching and mentoring support on product’s system knowledge for the new engineers to the project
Analyses software requirements related defects and propose corrective / preventive actions for improved product quality.(product level)
Collects and cascades software requirements Lessons Learned (LLs) within the project team and / or across similar project teams.
