Job description

Role:

R&D Facility Project management & Plant Control Team

Responsibility:

1. Project Monitoring (New facilities)

• Study & monitor progress w.r.t Project schedule.
• Understand the reason for deviation w.r.t to the scheduled activity.
• Present to stakeholders reports on Daily/Weekly/Monthly project progress, problems as well as solutions.
• A regular visit to projects sites.
• Coordination with all project teams.

1. Management of Project database

• Regular updating of the database.
• Identify efficient ways to retrieve data/documents as per management requirements.

1. Sustainability

• Good understanding of environmental regulation, operating standards from a plant operations point of view.
• Co-ordination with Environment dept.
• Participation in ISO 14001 audits & other ENV audits.

1. New Projects (facilities)

• Working on new projects & presentations to management.
• Planning, tendering, technical evaluation, ERP Processing, Coordination with Civil, Utility, IT & Safety dept.

Competency requirements:

1. Analytical & Conceptual Thinking.
2. Computer Competency ( MS Office, AutoCAD).
3. Decision Making
4. Proficiency in project management software tools

Educational Qualification:

B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical)
