Job Description

  1. Responsible for the design of components of BIW/FES ensuring the product design, process specification of parts, and sub-assembly of parts.
  2. Design considering functional specifications (design in ut data-Durability, Crash , NVH Targets, Feature list regulation constraints) in accordance with the standards, development process, and design logic
  3. To collaborate and modify the design to suit the requirements of other functions like Styling department, test group, production, logistics, marketing, service, etc
  4. Responsible for design and development of parts Considering Manufacturing- knowledge of one-step forming simulation,Assembly-GD&T, Service, Quality, Cost
  5. Should be able to identify Item function requirement and do Design Failure mode analysis, 8D analysis-Root cause analysis
  6. Should be able to make and understand 2D Master section ns for BIW joineries and Exterior Trim fitments and interfaces
  7. Design considering new technologies and implement the same in the products getting introduced 8. Knowledge of materials, components tests, manufacturing, part quality aspects, and checking fixture res9. Knowledge of Vehicle Systems /aggregates and to collaborate with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of quality parts for prototype and production builds.
