Job Description

  • Responsible for Network & system uptime as well and must have strong knowledge of NOC Monitoring Systems.
  • Perform regular checks on network, hardware & software, servers & client and responding to errors / alerts in the Transport Stream and hardware malfunctions.
  • Hands-on experience on multiple Tools like TS analysis tool, RF margin tools, STB testing tools & Barco wall monitoring hardware’s etc.
  • Have good knowledge of DTH/Cable industries Hardware’s like IRD, Encoders, MUXs, Modulators, Evertz MVIP, Grass valley MVIP, Monitoring Wall (Barco etc) and having experience of configurations of these hardware’s.
  • Having good knowledge of MPEG compression (H.264/H.265), Audio compression (AAC, DD, DD+, Dolby ATMOS), DVB – S/S2, SI/PSI tables, ASI/SDI, Encryption, simulcrypt and Transport Streams etc.
  • Must have knowledge and working experience in STB’s operation, STB architecture, CAM/VC, EMM, ECM, EPG, OTA, DU, Interactive applications, STB games, FP etc.
  • Strong verbal\ written communication skills and able to coordinate with the partners and cross-functional departments.
