Strong proficiency in C/C++, Data Structures and Algorithm.
Experience with Core Java is a plus
Knowledge of software C/C++ test methodologies, tools, and processes.
Good understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected environments.
Familiarity with tools such as valgrind for memory related detection, callgrind for profiling, GCC etc. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git knowledge in particular).
Good knowledge on GDB debugger, scripting language (Shell Scripts, Python etc) and Linux platform.
Familiarity with continuous integration.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Exposure to Design Patterns and Distributed systems is added advantage

Reviewing current systems and software design, be able to understand it technically and functionally and propose new solutions for the modules under change.
Develop customer requirements, document and maintain C/C++ code
Develop, document and maintain test cases and other test artifacts like the test data validation and automated scripts.
Provides information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing development and service issues.
Presenting ideas for design & system improvements
Working closely with business analysts, software architects and staff of another site (Nice, France)
Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
