Job Overview

  • The Software Development Engineer in Test role focuses on automation and verification within distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA teams to enhance system-wide automation infrastructure.
  • Ensure optimal performance of the DDC platform, supporting billing, report generation, and delivering Akamai logs to customers.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Have 1+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or its equivalent.
  • Have knowledge of QA processes, test plan creation, E2E testing.
  • Have demonstrated experience in developing test automation in Python.
  • Have hands-on experience with Linux/Unix OS.
  • Have working knowledge in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab etc.
  • Demonstrate experience with any automation framework, such as Robot using Python.

Job Description

  • Developing customer use cases and test scenarios by consuming system design.
  • Developing test setups for E2E testing.
  • Contributing to system test plans to ensure highly effective test coverage & automation.
  • Engaging early in the development cycle and implement strategies to achieve 100% automation.
  • Creating and deploying automated system tests to replicate real world scenarios.
  • Improving testing methodologies and procedures to enhance test automation efficiency.
