Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in works related to Public Health Engineering, with a focus on mechanical systems.
  • Proven expertise in the design and project management of mechanical works, preferably in the context of infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to mechanical engineering.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer software and tools.

Job Description

  • Lead the design and implementation of mechanical systems for public health engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical expertise in the selection, installation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical solutions into overall project designs and plans.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and risk assessments for mechanical works, and develop mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Oversee the procurement process for mechanical equipment and materials, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely completion of mechanical works.
