Job Description

  • Monitor and execute day to day rake operation and commercial operation and ensure required support are delivered to internal and external customers.
  • Placement of Indent, Preparing Forwarding note and getting RR generated in coordination with Railway Officials for timely preparation of RR. 
  • Co-ordinate with SAIL for forwarding bookings of rakes. 
  • Co-ordinate with Indian Railways at a local level for RR preparation and train scheduling etc
  • Ensure on-time submission of Fund Requisition to Finance for RR preparation.
  • Preparing MIS of RR’s and ensuring on-time submission of RR’s to Finance for invoicing.
  • Ensure timely examination of BFNS wagons and keeping records of same
  • Day to day working with railway consultants.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and digital solutions to enhance rail operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to stay abreast of advancements that may benefit the organization.
