Knowledge of Sales Tax (VAT & Use Tax) would be preferred.
Experience of tracking tools like Salesforce & Atlassian Jira
Position requires oral and written communication with external customers and collaboration with internal contacts. Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listen and gets clarification; responding client queries.

Prepare and file Sales & Use tax returns and payments accurately and timely as required by taxing jurisdictions to ensure all return filing deadlines are achieved.
Should have understanding on state rules and regulations.
High standards for accuracy to be maintained in line with standard Operating Procedures to avoid causing Penalty and Interest to the client.
Ability to meet the SLA's and ensuring accurate and timely registration.
Communicate to manager ongoing status and challenges or blockers if any.
Stay abreast of all the updates & trends, support overall production/accuracy goals.
Find and implement opportunities for process improvement and build efficiency.
Working with the team to plan and prepare monthly/quarterly/semi-annual/annual filings.
Serve as front line contact for external customers by answering emails and client calls.
Assist internal groups with technical issues and inquiries.
Communicate clearly and concisely and maintain accurate and timely records in systems.
Be open to accept additional responsibilities assigned to meet the deadlines
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Ability to adhere and deliver as per timelines of various government authorities as per various data formats.
Flexible to extend working hours, working on weekends and holidays as may be required to complete the filings requirements.
