• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE Mechanical).
• 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Edge).
• Experience with SAP for BOM preparation and release.
• Strong understanding of engineering calculations, system capacity, flow, and pressure drop through pipes.
• Knowledge of GD&T and mechanical component sizing.
• Familiarity with materials of construction for various applications.
• Excellent technical drawing skills.
• Ability to evaluate and select appropriate equipment for various applications.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Engineering Calculations:

• Perform basic engineering calculations for system capacity, flow, and pressure drop through pipes.
• Determine the sizing of mechanical components and have knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Material Selection:

• Knowledge of materials of construction used for pipes, plates, sheet metal, and structural members.
• Technical Drawings:
• Prepare technical drawings including Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), layout drawings, and equipment General Arrangement (GA) / detail drawings using 2D/3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Edge).

Bill of Materials (BOM):

• Prepare bill of materials using CAD tools and release drawings to manufacturing through SAP.

Equipment Evaluation:

• Evaluate and select appropriate equipment such as blowers, compressors, and dust collectors.

Design Documentation:

• Ensure timely and quality release of design documents.
• Maintain records related to engineering change/revision management, such as Design Change Notes.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with process engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of designs.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, and safety regulations during the design and implementation phases.
