Eligibility Criteria

  • Solid experience with discrete-event simulation tools such as Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation or Visual Components.
  • Knowledge of operations research techniques, stochastic modeling, and optimization methodologies.
  • Experience with PLC programming (preferably Siemens) for automation and process control.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling for integration with simulation models.
  • Experience with robot programming (preferably KUKA) for automation applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, statistical methods, and predictive modeling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with production engineers, automation specialists, and IT teams.
  • A proactive mindset, passion for process improvement, and a drive for innovation.

Job Description

  • Developing, maintaining, and optimizing discrete-event simulation models to support manufacturing and production efficiency.
  • Applying operations research techniques to derive data-driven solutions for production optimization.
  • Supporting production engineering teams by providing decision-making insights through advanced simulations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation models with real-world production systems.
  • Utilizing and enhancing manufacturing simulation tools such as Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation and Visual Components.
  • Supporting the automation team with PLC programming (preferably Siemens) to enhance system performance.
  • Incorporating 3D CAD models and robot programming (preferably KUKA) into simulation workflows.
  • Analyzing production data to identify improvement opportunities and validate simulation outcomes.
  • Driving innovation and exploring new technologies to improve manufacturing efficiency.
