Job Overview

  • This role calls for performing structural/linear dynamic analysis and evaluating the designs for cost reductions and optimization.
  • Work closely with BU, understand the current state, support in benchmarking, teardown and validate the designs.

Eligibility Criteria

  • MS or M Tech degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Aerospace / Engineering Science) from a recognized university with 4-5 years of experience.
  • Strong background in dynamic analysis including vibration, fatigue and Numerical Methods
  • experience with 2D/3D FEA simulation
  • understanding of HVAC, heat-exchanger and climate control systems is a plus
  • high communication and interpersonal skills
  • highly driven, self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision

Job Description

  • The candidate will be expected to perform FEA structural analysis using MSC/ANSYS where the entire process must be covered, i.e. from data/information acquisition, CAD data pre-processing, model build, to the analysis and final presentation.
  • This involves optimizing and providing cost effective solutions through structural analysis.
  • Multiple project responsibilities
  • Perform technical design reviews and recommend improvements.
  • Position works closely with other structural group members and cross functional project teams to conceive, design and produce safe, reliable and cost effective products
  • Familiarity with nCode design life fatigue analysis will be a plus.
  • Thermo mechanical analysis is a plus
  • Willingness to travel and advance skillset.
