Job Description

  • Demonstrated experience in executing mechanical subsystem design in support of larger Electro Mechanical product/system development
  • Good understanding of various manufacturing processes
  • Possess and demonstrate advanced knowledge in a specialized field and broad knowledge of several related disciplines within a function
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills. Proven experience developing 3D models
  • Proficiency with engineering tools including FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, GD&T, Tolerance Stack Analysis & DFM/DFA
  • May provide day-to-day direction and oversight for other employees.
  • Provide technical leadership on cross-functional teams
  • Has a solid knowledge of product category, understanding larger system aspects.
  • Demonstrated understanding of cross functional processes.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in work practices, standards, processes.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, effective presentations skills.
  • Ability to collaborate, negotiate and work within a team environment.
  • Ability to relate to others, demonstrated resourcefulness and flexibility, active participation in decision making process.
  • Ability to solve problems and lead others in resolving problems.
  • Contribute to multiple projects, involving single components or subsystems.
  • Can quickly assess a problem and identify the key technical issues. Bases decisions on fundamental engineering principles and has a firm understanding of how the principles apply to the problem. Has an understanding of the assumptions involved and accounts for the added risks
