Job Overview

As a Piping Design Engineer at Tecnimont, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex piping systems for various industrial projects. This includes creating detailed piping layouts, identifying the best materials and components for each project, and ensuring that all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in piping design for industrial plants, refineries, or petrochemical facilities
  • Proficient in 3D design software such as AutoCAD, PDMS, or similar
  • Strong understanding of piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Description

  •  Develop detailed piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) in collaboration with the engineering team
  • Perform hydraulic and stress analysis to ensure the integrity and efficiency of piping systems
  • Select appropriate piping materials and components based on project requirements and specifications
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of piping systems with other project components
  • Participate in site visits and inspections to validate piping design and ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the construction and commissioning team throughout the project lifecycle
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve piping design processes and methodologies
